* Grand Hotel Esplanade Berlin invests in sustainability - Environmental protection is of great importance to us and for that reason two of our employees received a training for sustainability in the entertainment industry organized by the German Convention Bureau. The training, which is funded by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) provides individual and complete solutions for implementing sustainable conventions, meetings and events. Contents are environmental and climate protection, standards and norms, and the management of sustainable mediated events. Across Germany  500 counselors will be trained until December 2013 - in the training group in Berlin the Grand Hotel Esplanade Berlin was the only hotel amongst the participants.
